She wasn't safe. She never was.
She couldn't be safe. No protection.
All the pain she felt. Always- Forever.
Medusa-sama's spells. They hurt- they ripped.
Nothing could stop the hurt. Maka.
Her smiles slowly faded. Lost memories.
Maka's happiness- So real. Beautiful. Special.
Medusa-sama said Shibusen was all wrong.
Don't believe her. She hurts you.
She's your mother. Make her happy.
Even Ragnarok was unhappy. The food...
Crona felt his hunger through her.
They wanted to go back... Really...

Slowly- then blur. Experiments and spells...
They all ran together. All faded.
The longing to return. All gone.
"Maka is a threat to witches."
"Usagi-chan?" Crona asked, vaguely remembering.
